Once it’s starts to cool down, nothing feels quite as good as curling up on the couch and watching a movie, an old one preferably. I love to bundle up with some cocoa and watch a classic. Even though some of these movies aren’t scripted for Thanksgiving, they just seem like something to watch in the month of November! Below are my top 10 over the holiday season. 1. You’ve Got Mail – Needs no explanation 🙂
2. Harry Potter Series – Any time is a good time for Harry, but the Fall months make it extra special.
3. The Blind Side – This movie was originally released a week before Thanksgiving, so it reminds me of that time of the year every time I watch it!
4. When Harry Met Sally – Present day comedy/romance movies wish they could come up with something like this. It’s the best.
5. Good Will Hunting – The scenery just screams Autumn.
6. The Big Chill – A classic with an amazing cast and it just speaks Fall!
7. Hannah & Her Sisters – Family drama and relationship predicaments fill this Thanksgiving dinner.
8. Planes, Trains & Automobiles – Such a good laugh and it is set over the Thanksgiving holiday.
9. Grumpy Old Men – Set in a small town in snowy Minnesota, it beams a holiday vibe. This two guys had me at hello 🙂
10. Home for the Holidays – Holly Hunter is one of my faves and this one dives into her family dysfunction over the Thanksgiving holiday.
