STYLING MY SMALL COFFEE BAR/LOW CARB COFFEE RECIPE

I’m a coffee person. At home, at a shop, at a restaurant. Wherever. I like a sweet coffee with all the “love” packed in that little cup. I had a full size coffee bar in my larger house but since downsizing, I only have a little coffee station but I still use it everyday. And sometimes twice.

I worked in restaurants when I was younger, and the industrial/restaurant touches in my kitchen make me so, so happy! I like to actually see what’s in my kitchen. Open shelving, pot racks, knife magnets, plate stands, etc. In my mind, there is no reason to be constantly putting up my coffee supplies. So, in every space, for as long as I could remember, I had a coffee bar.

I started with a wide basket that I could fill up. Then I chose white accessories to make it cohesive. I have a Ninja insulated coffee maker. You can look at it here. I know the pods are popular, but we drink way to much coffee for that!

To add sweet to my cup, I use the Torani sugar-free simple syrups and my new favorite, Barista cafe latte foam. It comes in a few different flavors and I found it at Walmart. I have put up a hunt and cannot find it anywhere else. And, it doesn’t need to be refrigerated. Best part? No calories, carbs and it’s gluten free. Don’t order either of these online. It’s about twice the money.

Currently, I’m watching my carbs so here’s my daily coffee recipe these days…

3 tbsp. Splenda (0 carb)

1 tbsp. flavored sugar-free powdered cream (any brand, vanilla or some other flavor) (1 carb)

2 capfuls Torani sugar-free syrup (0 carbs)

Heavy whipping cream to taste (0 carbs)

Combine with coffee and pump latte foam on top (0 carbs)

This definitely gives you that “coffee shop feel” with none of the carbs!

Until Next Time!
