I had to replace a few things from my latest closet overhaul. So of course, Walmart to the rescue… I picked up some awesome things.
*White linen-look button up that comes in a variety of patterns. I love it in white for spring-going in the summer. It’s a large and pretty true to size. I tend to cover my arms and this is a great lightweight fabric. I can wear it open or button it all the way up. It’s got this great roll sleeve button that makes it three-quarter sleeve instead of the full length. I think it’s just a great classic white shirt.
*Denim Jacket -I have this in the white version & the darker denim and now the light wash. If you need a lightweight denim jacket, this is it y’all. I’ve seen I’ve seen this style and wash recently and they can range from $100 $200- I bought it in a large, but my darker denim is in an extra large, and it’s still fine.
*Black Cargo Top – One of the things I love about it is the shirttail in the back. This is the No Boundary brand, which is a junior brand so I went up at least a size 1X- I wanted it to be kind of blousy.
*Lace Tank Style Top – Lace is back this summer, so I bought this little sleeveless black tank which comes with a solid cami that is attached. I went up a size or two. I think it goes up to a 3X . I’m wearing it with the black kimono shown. I think I would also love it with a maxi summer skirt. I can wear this kimono with anything really – jeans, black pants, shorts, I would love it with white bottoms. I bought it in Large/XL-I could have sized down easily.
*My Favorite Tanks. It is a Modal fabric with spandex blend which means it has a really nice drape and it doesn’t crinkle- right now I think there is a bundle online that you can get three of these for about $15 and I got them in every color.
*Nautical Top -When I saw this little boat neck tee in stores, I immediately thought of J.Crew -I hopped up on their website and they have a navy and a black-and-white version there is almost an exact dupe- Fits true to size–It was around 9 dollars- I’ll wear this with jeans this summer, would also look great with white -it has a three-quarter inch sleeve and pretty light-weight.
*Copper Sandal – This Time & Tru Slide that I picked up has two bands. I bought the copper version and they also have it with a clear band that I really liked- The crisscross sandal comes in black the nude is perfect as a neutral with a little silver bling.
*Pink Kimono With Tank- I jumped in with some color with this this neon pink kimono is from the brand No Boundaries in a small/medium. I could’ve won the large/XL too- either would’ve been fine for me. It is a sheer fabric with no pattern and it has a belt. The tank (sold separately) is also from No Boundaries and is an exact color match. I sized up with the tank- it is a spandex poly blend and has a slight sheen in the fabric.
White lace trimmed with an open front. I bought it a bit oversized. It’s great if you are looking for something lightweight but covering your arms. They have it in a few colors. This doily look was all over winter fashion and its still here for summer.
