I was so happy to be invited to spend a day at the Boardwalk (click here for more info) in the Towne Lake community in Cypress for a pre-Mother’s Day celebration! We started the day off right at Breakfast Brunch Cafe. It’s quaint and the service is great! Chicken ‘n waffles and a cup of joe is definitely the way to go!
Next up were pedicures at Lux NOA Nail Spa. I LOOVVVEEE a pedi and I was so excited that my day included one. I love how the pedicure stations are separated into smaller sections, so if you had a gaggle of girls, you could face each other and chat. (P.S. The slushie margaritas are a fun, too!)
Then, we were up for some shopping at Beau Kisses and The Royal Standard. Beau Kisses is an adorable boutique that coined the phrase, Where fun meets fabulous! And… that sums them up to a tee! It’s an upscale boutique filled with gifts for everyone on your list, unique items for the house, and clothing that I never see anywhere else. I can ALWAYS find something to love in this shop! Bonus, the staff is awesome!
We have been shopping at The Royal Standard for years at the Houston Nutcracker Market. It is so awesome that they have a storefront in Cypress. There is no place better, in my opinion, to find that perfect seasonal item or a finishing touch for your place setting. And side note… they are having a sale over Mother’s Day, so don’t miss it!
We ended our afternoon with sweets and coffee from Land of a Thousand Hills Coffee & Bakery. This cute coffee shop has something for everyone. Try the Mud Pie Mocha or Almond Joy Lattee. Also, don’t miss the skinny muffins!
On Mother’s Day there will be live country music, a photobooth, and flowers (like the lovely roses we have in our photos) being sold by Kroger Marketplace! Kroger Marketplace will begin selling flowers on the green space:

There are tons of great lunch and brunch options (many have Mother’s Day specials) like Breakfast Brunch Café, The Cheese Bar, Jaxton’s Bistro, Taisho, Sam’s Boat, Torchy’s Tacos, Mod Pizza, The Flying Vine, and Burgerim. Check out all the happenings, here.
I don’t live near the Boardwalk, but this spot has quickly become one of my favorites. It’s just perfect for a girls’ day!
