The drugstore seems to be crawling with new products and I love it! A good walk down a Target beauty aisle makes me a happy girl. Here are some of the latest that I picked up.
ELF SHIMMER HIGHLIGHT POWDER – WOW! I love highlighters but tend to stay away from them because of my age. Too much shimmer may not be a good thing but…this is an exception. I bought the color Starlight Glow and it is beautiful. I put just a touch on the top of my blush line for a little something extra. You could easily place on your shoulders and neckline at night. COTY AIRSPUN LOOSE FACE POWDER – The packaging says “Since 1935” so I guess it was about time I tried it! One of my favorite beauty Youtubers, Tati, recommended this product and I had to hunt it down. It was sold out, but I finally found the color Naturally Neutral at Walmart and I really do like it. I wear very little powder, but I set my concealer (under the eye) with a light touch of loose powder and then move it around my face to finish everything when I’m done. That is plenty of powder for me.
GARNIER ULTRA LIFT WRINKLE REDUCER 2-in-1 SERUM + MOISTURIZER – I saw this on a beauty segment a while back and I was desperate for a morning hydrator so I gave it a shot. I normally use Garnier Miracle Ultra-Lift Wake-Up Hydra Moisturizer but I had just finished a bottle. Ulta and most the drugstores have quit carrying it so it’s easier to just order it online now. I would repurchase the Ultra lift but I think I still prefer my WakeUp. You can find the ultra lift wrinkle reducer here and the wake up cream here.
MILANI KEEP IT FULL NOURSIHING LIP PLUMPER – I’ve tried a lot of plumpers I can’t really vouch for the plumper part but this product is soooo creamy. Shiny but not sticky. Perfect for a lip gloss and it’s such a beautiful color. I have the 01 in Champagne but, I didn’t see a bad color in the bunch. I will definitely repurchase this one.
LOREAL VOLUMINOUS XFIBER MASCARA – I have a mascara collection that could rival most beauty bloggers, but there it was in a beautiful new display, calling my name, LOL. It didn’t disappoint. It’s a two part system that is clearly marked on the tube, thank god. It has the fibers that everyone has now and it works about the same as everything else I have tried. And at less than $10, it’s quite the steal.
FLOWER BEAUTY PETAL POUT LIP LINER – I rarely buy high end lip liner. It’s one of those products that I think is just as good from the drug store. The Toffee color is the perfect shade for a lot of nude lipsticks. Not too creamy, not too chalky. It’s the perfect combo.
SUAVE DRY SHAMPOO – Prices are crazy on dry shampoo and I’m pretty picky because of the residue that a lot of them leave behind. Obviously, it is meant to refresh in between washes, but this one really gives my hair so much more body when it’s clean too.
